Persistent Absentees

Attend's automatic tracking monitors students who fall into the categories of Persistent Absentees (PA) and Severe Absentees (SA), providing schools with invaluable insights through a comprehensive week-by-week chart, allowing schools to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for intervention.

Persistent Absence is tracked week by week and across key groups

Using the Student View, school can promptly identify Persistent and Severe Absentees and intervene early to address attendance issues before they escalate. Early intervention increases the likelihood of successfully improving attendance rates and preventing long-term absenteeism.

Whole School View

The Whole School View feature in Attend offers a comprehensive overview of attendance data across the entire school. Through a week-by-week cumulative pivot interface, users can explore attendance trends and patterns with ease. This interface allows for the breakdown of data by year groups, forms, and to individual students by terms, half terms and weeks, providing granular insights into attendance performance at different organisational levels.

Attend's use of conditional formatting enhances data interpretation by highlighting attendance trends and anomalies in a visually intuitive manner. This quick and comprehensive view enables administrators to identify areas of concern promptly and take targeted actions to address attendance issues.

Absence Coding

Attend analyses attendance comments and assigns absence coding to help categorise absences beyond illness and medical codes. Attend automatically categorises absences based on keywords identified within comments, allowing for more nuanced categorisation of absences. Schools can manage keywords and manually assign codes as needed, ensuring accurate and customisable attendance tracking tailored to their specific requirements.

Absence Codes are automatically analysed and categorised giving powerful insights

Familial Links

Understand familial dynamics and their impact on attendance through the Siblings reports. Identify trends or patterns within families such as consistent punctuality or recurring absences.

Siblings are grouped to enable schools to identify patterns for intervention

Transport - Map View

Attend's Map View feature offers a visual representation of the whole school or specific groups of students on a map, aiding in the identification of transport routes and punctuality issues.

This interactive map displays the home address locations of pupils in relation to the school, providing valuable insights into transportation patterns and punctuality concerns.
