DFE 10-week Rolling Attendance Reporting

DFE 10 week unauthorised attendance reports and communications

Are you prepared for the new DFE 10-week rolling attendance expectation starting this September?

Attend is.

  • 10 week reports in the dedicated dashboard

  • Automate signals to staff with Absence Watch

  • Merge letters and communications with the built-in templates and creation tools

Attend integrates with your MIS and transforms your whole school attendance data into fast, insightful reports invaluable for drilling down and identifying areas for improvement.

On September 2024 new statutory guidance 'Working Together to Improve School Attendance' came into force, meaning schools have to consider a fine if a pupil has 10 sessions of unauthorised absence in a rolling period of 10 school weeks. The period can also span different terms or school years.

Attend has a dedicated dashboard tracking students who have 10 sessions or more of unauthorised absences during a rolling 10 week rolling period. The reports span over previous terms/academic years - excluding school holidays.

Reports do not need to be exported to be shared with key staff or for parental communications - actions are made directly from the report, ensuring timely and efficient intervention.

Attend provides a comprehensive set of tools and workflows to help tackle attendance, including:

• Dashboard and Reports: Access detailed and intuitive analytics to monitor attendance trends.

• Parent Communication: Streamline communication with parents through automated notifications and updates.

• Staff Signals and Alerts: Stay informed with real-time alerts for immediate action.

• Stage/Wave Management: Effectively manage attendance interventions at various stages.

• Student Notes, Interventions, and Barriers to Attendance: Track individual student notes, interventions, and identify barriers to improve attendance strategies.

And much more...
